I am planning to design a website for our branch for my major assignment. You will see how badly this is needed if you visit our current site at www.elbataxia.com Oops! No you won't - it looks as if our registration ran out. Take it from me, it was terrible. Actually we now DO have a site for the East of Scotland Branch of Ataxia UK

Our Branch provides support and advice for people with Ataxia, their families and friends. We have regular meetings, usually 5 times a year, plus social events eg BBQs and boat trips. Here is the report of our recent meeting (in Word) where we had an interesting medical speaker. NB I had problems with this link (document was called March_Meeting.doc) until I renamed it March.doc - now it works!

Site Accessibility will be a major design consideration as many of our members have visual problems, so I will not be using wallpaper like this! It is a picture of La Rochelle, western France, where we spent a very cold cycling holiday at Easter 2002 - taken the morning we left - the first nice day.
