What Skills are needed for success on Year 3?

Year 3 is a big step up from second year or an HND course if you are a direct entrant to the programme. Everyone finds it a challenge - but also very rewarding - read the quotes from some of the students in the 2005/06 cohort.

There is an excellent website pilot study for direct entrants which gives basic advice and help with coping at university - although it's aimed at people transferring from FE colleges, it has a lot of useful information which will help you with your studies. You can also find study advice on the Napier University Widening Access pages.
